White ink tattoos

I know that white tattoos have been discussed alot in this forum but I do not have any tattoos and I am thinking about getting an all white piece. I was just wondering... is the inking process the same as any other colour tattoo? I've read that it needs to go deeper than other colours as its lighter and doesn't hold very well. If anyone out there can shed any light then I'd be grateful. Thanx.

white tattoos are for people who don't really want a tattoo.
