White ink to draw patterns in solid black tattoo

Hello, I have a 3/4 sleeve but too much of it is solid black. Can I get a tattooist to use white ink to draw say japanese style lines, clouds, wind, flowers etc in the solid black areas?

yup ya sure can. be a waste of money,time and all.white will look god for a little bit then black will override it.

So I can't even get a permanent grey effect with white ink?
