why?

WHY? I did not get tattooed to impress you. Idid not get tattooed to elicit a reaction from you. I did not get tattooed to rebel against my parents or society. I did not get tattooed to join the "in" crowd or to be popular. I was tattooed to celebrate my life and my interaction with others lives...in what other manner could I have permanently memorialized my memories both sweet and bitter? I could have bought a fancy expensive car, but cars rust...I could wear garish brightly colored clothes but cloth wears out so soon...I could sport a radical eye catching mohawk but what permanence has a mere hair do? No, none of these for me...I chose instead to endure the sweet sting of tattoo...in what better manner could I ever express the beautiful visions that reside in my soul? Taz
