Will it have to be removed?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice. I just recently got my first tattoo last week. It's on my upper back in the shoulder blades area and is from bra strap to bras strap. I didn't get my tattoo done at a shop. It was done by a proffessional at my place. YES I did my research before getting him he has been tattooing for 13 years and YES I made sure he was clean. I saw him open the new needles in front of me and then throw them out later. But the thing is I've been trying to reach him for some questions and he's nowhere to be found. I'm wondering if what I'm having is normal right now. The entire area where purple was used is red and irritated but not swollen. I have itchy pimples or bumps spreading all over my neck and all the way down to the middle of my back now. I used vitamin E cream for the first three days but then stopped to see if it would dry out. It's bloody and has a pussy discharge. So I thought infection for sure. But then looking it up, infected tattoos are supposed to be really painful and it's not painful, just sensitive and itchy as hell. So now what... allergic reaction? if it's to the red ink I'm only reacting in the purple area but not the pink. If it is an allergic reaction can I just use medication or will I have to have it removed? Any advice? And yes I have an appointment with my doctor.
I'd see what you're doctor says. If it is red reaction, only time will tell if it needs to be lasered or not. I've seen red reaction spanning from irritation during healing to constant irritation once the tattoo is completely healed.
Doesnt sound like a normal heal to me, go see your doctor. I dont know any professional tattooers who do house calls, none. zero. and I know hundreds of artists. Getting tattooed at your house is pretty nasty, gag. good luck.
