Writer Tattoo

One of my biggest hobbies is writing. I write all the time. I would love to have a tattoo that reflects that w/o being cheesy like a pen and paper (especially since I do most of my writing on the computer). I've tried to find a symbol (African, Chinese, any kind of symbol really) that represented writing or a writer or something like that. If anyone has any ideas or can come up with something for me to get, I would be SOOOOOOOOOOO grateful! Thanks so much!

I like to write too and have been thinking about tattoo to represent it. But because I write I have to have imagination, so, best thing for you is to come up with the idea yourself :) When you think of something cool, just take it to a good artist so they can do a custom tattoo for you. And it doesn even have to be a complete idea. If the artist is good then he/she can help you easily :)

Well, I can write but I don't have an artistic bone in my body when it comes to stuff like that. I can't draw stick people. That's why I'm asking for help. If I could come up with an idea for my tattoo myself, do you think I would be trolling message boards for help?

I cant draw, paint, sculpt or anything like that. You propably now why you write and how it makes you feel. Or why did you start, what kinda stuff you write etc., Just take those feelings, turn them into metaphors and then go to a good custom artist who you can tell your idea to.
