I am not just a tattoo artist, I am a professional sidewalk chalk competitor!

In 2019, I went Independent. Free of controlling, greedy shop owners, free to make my own schedule, free to go to any convention I want with out having to ask permission, AND compete in many varieties of art shows.. Including sidewalk chalk!

I signed up for my first chalk art Completion in June, 2019. The Utah Chalk Art Festival was to benefit Utah Foster Care and we held at The Gateway Mall in Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.

I designed a Paint Horse with an American Flag background, and I spent two entire days working on the project.

The Judges asked me how many competitions I had competed in, and how long I had been a chalk artist. They were shocked to find out it was my first one!

And I was later shocked to win BEST IN SHOW!!!

I was so honored and motivated that I decided to make chalk art competitions are THING! So much so that I caught the attention of other chalk art competition organizers, and was invited to an invitational event in Las Vegas the following September!

This photo was taken after the Competition judging and awards ceremony had commenced.

I won People's Choice, Best 3D, and 3rd In Pro!

The look on my face says it all!

I have once again been invited to another invitational event, Via Las Vegas this September. Stay tuned to my social media for photos, events and upcoming art shows!
