Salvador Dali is a major influence in Capone's artwork. When sitting down to draw late at night, there is a high chance Capone will pull one of the dozens of Dali books he has in his personal collection to use for inspiration. The Salvador Dali eye with paintbrush and paint palette is on the hand of fellow tattoo artist Chase Nash, and although done years ago, is still one of Capone's favorite pieces.
