This tattoo is a memorial for the clients deceased mother.  She wanted the tattoo to represent one of the things she remembered that made her mom the most happy, gardening and nature. The client chose two elements that I already love to tattoo. First, the pink rose, which was one of her mother's most beloved flowers that she grew in her garden.  Also the butterfly, which symbolizes the cycle of life, transcendence and freedom. The two together made the perfect reminder for her of her mother.
