This woman was yet another victim of poor tattooing. I can't think of anything worse than when someone is trusting an artist to do a beautiful tattoo on their body and instead they get disfigured. The first problem with this tattoo, is that this client measured in at about 6'2 and has very prominet structural lines on her body. The last thing I would want to do is waste the natural flow of the woman's hip line with a none flowing tattoo. After studying the old piece and exploring my options, this is what I came up with. The piece now compliments her body, she still got the traditional style cherry blossom branch she wanted and the old eye sore is gone. This is how it should have been to begin with.
