A friend of mine outside of tattooing, Virgina form Crested Butte Colorado collected this fun piece while I was at my old shop, Godspeed in Breckenridge CO. She sent me a few paintings that she liked of Sparrows. I loved the loose style she was looking for, so I drew my own rendition within the style reference that she had sent me. I went a little further with it, doing a liquid acrylic painting of the drawing, then tattooed my painting on her. How fun!! I also gave Virgina and her newly wed husband, Alex, the painting I did as a wedding gift.
