Year of the snake, this was my clients first tattoo. She brought in some chinese cut paper snake images for reference, these are very colorful 2 dimensional images of snakes. after careful consideration we decided on a more realistic snake with the same vivid colors as the cut paper images. I was really happy with the way this tattoo turned out, especially the colores, it looked spectacular on her back! Total time was 5.5 hours, approximate size was 10in. across.
