One full color, blue eyed, palomino paint horse. And one black and gray quarter horse.
Horses are my muse since childhood and my heart and soul go into every horse tattoo I'm commissioned to create. Both of these tattoos were no exception.
The black and gray quarter horse was symbolic of my client's Father and his love of horses. My client traveled from out of state in search for the perfect artist to do a portrait of horse. He reached out to me when he saw my portfolio, and exclaimed to me that I was "the perfect tattoo artist" for the piece. I was honored by his compliment, and was so excited to complete his very special and sentimental horse tattoo for him.
The Palomino Paint was symbolic of my client's childhood horse. Although she did not have photos of the horse, we were able to research together to find the perfect replica of her beloved horse that fit her half sleeve sizing perfectly. She was so happy and overcome with joy and emotion upon seeing the completed tattoo, that she immediately exclaimed she now wanted me to do a full sleeve of horse tattoos for her. Naturally, I was flattered and just as excited to take on more horse tattoo designs!
