So far in my tattooing career, the pieces I find most challenging and satisfying to create are adaptations of fine art as tattoos. They require a lot of concentration and I inevitably learn something new about the art piece I am recreating every time I've had the chance to work on one of these tattoos. This one took about 18 hours to complete over the cousrse of 5 sessions. Patience is also a prerequisite on both the artist and client side. This particular piece was interesting in the fact that my cient wanted to incorporate both paintings (Vincent Van Gogh's Stary Night and Edvard Munch's The Scream) into one piece.
