My friend Dan wanted to pay tribute to the vast array of beautiful fauna and flora of the rainforests, while calling attention to the clearcutting and burning of the Amazon jungle for industrial agriculture. So he chose several interesting animals and plants to depict, and we tied the composition together with flames to represent the peril that these fragile ecosystems are in today.
