Images always have a bit impact when the contrast is there. For this tattoo, I chose a picture that had the right positioning of the bird in flight and then i played with the colors on phototshop to ensure i got a crisp and easy to read reference. Of course, when the image is finally on the skin, I took even more artistic freedom with the way i apploed the shades and color.
