Shawn asked for this memorial color portrait tattoo of his father. The photo reference used is a black and white photo from the 1950s. Therefore, I made up all of the colors in this tattoo. This was a very challenging but very fun test in color value. Shawn came from Singapore to take an accelerated business course at Berkeley (study abroad) just so he could come to California and get tattooed! He sat on a bus & train for 12 hours from Berkeley to Los Angeles, skipped a class, got tattooed for 5-6 hours, sat like a champ, had dinner, then did the 12 hour trek back to Berkeley. What a badass. Look forward to tattooing Shawn again some day. Intenze Ink.
