This walk up tattoo came in the form of a very cool client... He brought me a Stevie Ray Vaughn vinyl and an Eric Clapton album cover as reference material. He told me that he just wanted the guitar on his inner bicep. I've seen these tattoos done many times over through the years and with the area he had available I didnt think it would be a responsible move to try and get all of the detail of a full guitar at a sze that wouldn't do it justice.That's really just not my style anyway... In my mind, what really sets this guitar apart aside from its rich histroy in the world of rock n' roll is its recognizable headstock and the classic Fender logo... We got the point across and he left a happy client.
