Client wanted realistic bullet entry wound in his chest and let me go with it.  Didn't care for most of what I had seen of these types of tattoos so I spent some time researching forensics and decided to go with some shot residue along with my take on rendering something like this.  We were both very happy with how this turned out.  Would love to do more things like this.
