My name is Han Ju Kim, I'm a tattooer from Seoul, South Korea. I specialize in photo realism, a very difficult style. I've been honing my craft all my life considering the fact that I became serious about drawing as a very small child and never gave up on improving, little by little. When tattooing came into my awareness, I quickly realized I had found my calling and began pursuing it as a career. It was initially quite difficult to break through in the industry. Inexperience isn't your friend in a field such as this. Luckily, I was able to make connections with artists willing to teach me as well as connect me with clientele. It can be discouraging starting out- finding your style, your clients, your peers- but it's been a worthwhile endeavor which I've never regretted. With each challenge or obstacle, my talent increases, and my resolve is strengthened.
