For a long time my worth was tied to my output.

For a long time my worth was tied to my output.

For a long time my worth was tied to my output.

A full calendar meant I was okay. A slow week meant something was wrong with me.

So I kept pouring everything back into the work, because the work was where I felt like I mattered.

And the whole time my real life, the rest and the people who fill you back up, ran on empty.

That's the old way a lot of us were taught.

Pour it all into the shop and wear the exhaustion as a badge of honor.

It fills the calendar but at the expense of you.

The work I do now is about pouring back into the right places, so the tattoo career and the life feed each other instead of one draining the other.

If you've been filling the wrong cup, DM or comment COACH and let's figure out if my Candid Color mentorship is the right fit.
