Last night was EPIC!!! I don’t know where to start. Traffic was hella crazy getting there, we missed Six Gun Sally, I heard they were great. Foreigner were amazing, as always! Original singer Lou Graham has been popping up at a few select shows, and last night was one of them.He came out and sang the last song, Hot Blooded. Stellar set. My bro Bruce Watson is such a great guitarist. Next up, my favorite band of all time. The mighty Lynyrd Skynyrd, who I’ve seen a MILLION times, have never sounded better. Was cool to hear some deep cuts like On The Hunt, I Need You, and Don’t Ask Me No Questions. And watching them play Free Bird is like a religious experience, the highlight of the night. I’m watching people walk out right before that song, thinking, “what is wrong with you people?” Definitely not true fans. 😂 I saw you Damon, felt the love brother, you were incredible! Thanks for the picks Carson and Tim, love you guys! Carson showed me this Billy Powell guitar pick that someone gave him backstage. There’s an awesome story that goes with it.
