Let's Talk Longevity

Submitted 07.13.24

Every great business has a vision and mission.  Our mission is to create long-lasting artwork that stands the test of time.  One of the truest tests of a solid tattoo is one that exemplifies a clean, solid design that is readable from a distance AND ages well over time.  Whether the tattoo incorporates color or is simply black & grey, the tattoo should be one that an artist would STILL be proud of for years to come.

To help our readers to better understand what is being conveyed, take a close look at the attached image.  This tattoo was completed by Tim O'Connor (artist & owner) in 2018.  Clearly the tattoo (or any tattoo for that matter) looks super fresh on clean shaven skin after it is first completed.  The design is well placed on the rear calf, and the color is packed and distributed evenly into the skin.  Six years later, the tattoo  STILL presents like a new tattoo.  Granted we see a slight haze from the natural hair on the skin, but you get the drift...don't you?

As we get older, undoctored skin naturally changes.  We slowly see evidence of dryness, loss of elasticity, sagging, wrinkling, and thinning. Even with those changes, if we take moderate care of our skin, the tattoos we choose to get SHOULD stand the test of time all things considered.
