You gotta fight…for your right…to PARTY!!! Had a blast at Party In The Park on the Toledo riverfront Friday night. Imposters In Effect were playing 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. I was gonna play two songs like I always do. A thunderstorm was rolling in around 8:30, when we were getting food. It started to sprinkle, there was lightning and stuff, I was side stage eating a bacon double cheeseburger, watching the mayor of Toledo rapping onstage with the band! It was starting to rain and I knew I wasn’t gonna play, they were gonna get cut off. My buddy Dustin the drummer looked over and said, “you’re on next, last song!” So I ran to the trailer, put down my cheeseburger, grabbed my guitar, tuned up, ran to the stage and got to play one song! 😂 It was a fun night until the storm! The band made a grand entrance by cruising over from across the river in Pango’s Beastie Boys boat, got off and walked to the stage and started their killer show. These guys are the best Beastie Boys tribute in the world, get out and see them if you live in the Midwest.
