“My owner sets the minimum. The front desk decides who I get. Why learn pricing if I can’t use it? I’ll figure it out when I have my own shop. And if I push back, I could lose my chair." So you take the walk-in with the Pinterest screenshot and don’t pitch anything better. Small, fast tattoos, one after another, after another, after another. And if you post your own work, the owner gets pissy anyway. You don’t need to fight the owner to change that. You need a plan the owner can say yes to. When your changes bring the shop more money first, you get room to start booking the work you want to be known for. The longer you wait, the more you get trapped into the small fast stuff that leaves clients remembering the transaction of the tattoo but definitely not your name. You don’t need your own shop to start. DM or comment COACH and we’ll talk it through on a Candid Call. #candidcolorcoaching #tattoocoach #tattooartist #tattoobusiness #tattooshop
