@itallosantostattoo entered tattooing in 2019 without an artistic background, a family tradition, or a conventional apprenticeship. He taught himself and chose realism almost immediately. What followed was less a sudden breakthrough than a relentless process of studying, testing, correcting, and pushing his standards further. His answer to what drives that process is simple: “obsession beats talent.” That mindset shapes Itallo’s approach to realism. For him, a tattoo must belong to the body, make anatomical sense, carry the client’s story, and stand the test of time. Between light and shadow, precision and emotion, realism and surrealism, his practice is built around a question that never seems to disappear: how much further can the work go? More than 80 awards, international conventions, and guest spots across Europe have taken his work far beyond Brazil. But they are not the destination. For Itallo, each new level simply creates another one to reach.
