I had the privilege of teaching a private 2-day workshop…

I had the privilege of teaching a private 2-day workshop here at @elswrtattoo in Grand Junction, Colorado! Pictured here is my demonstration painting. I’ve really been enjoying the challenge and freshness of this different style of workshop which reflects the current state of my journey in painting. Painting from imagination, from abstract to representational in order to prioritize composition above all else and to encourage playfulness, experimentation, and trust in your abilities. What an awesome group of people to spend time with. So much fun to see the creative energy fly in unexpected directions and to watch everyone overcome the very difficult challenges that this process provides. Thank you @jacobsheffieldart @brandonfulller @lunettatattoo @jacobjamestattoo @koote23 @presencetattoo for trusting me with your valuable time and for the hospitality 🔥❤️. Right now I’m getting tattooed by the legend @jacobsheffieldart !
