My client came to me wanting both shins tattooed but not two designs simply placed on the legs. So I worked with the natural flow of each leg, using the knees, shins and proportions to guide where every line should travel. The goal was symmetry without making the two sides feel copied and pasted creating a pair of blackwork tattoos that belong together while still adapting to each leg individually. The design follows the anatomy, frames the knees and elongates the shins, so when he stands naturally, the whole piece reads as one composition. That’s why body flow is such an important part of my work. A tattoo shouldn’t just look good on paper. It should look like it was always meant to exist on your body 🖤 #nooirtatto #legtattoos #freehandtatto #uktattooartist
