About Finger Tattoos
Finger tattoos are small, eye-catching and undeniably cool — but of all placements, they come with the most important honest conversation about longevity, one any good artist will have up front.
- One of the worst-wearing spots — constant use, washing, friction and sun
- Very commonly fade, blur or partly disappear within months to a couple of years
- Plan on touch-ups; sides hold a little better than the tops
- Keep designs simple and bold — fine detail blurs together as it settles
- Moderate-to-high pain (bony, thin-skinned), but small size keeps sessions short
