Why did I create my signature folk art Tree of Life design?

Why did I create my signature folk art Tree of Life design? In Slavic philosophy, Род (Rod) is more than ancestry. It is the living thread connecting those who came before us, those who are here now, and those who will come after. We do not begin with ourselves. We inherit stories, traditions, ways of loving and surviving, and the strength that carried our families through generations — as well as wounds that were never given the chance to heal. There is something powerful in realizing that your life is part of a much longer story. Part of your path was inherited, but part of it is yours to create. That is what the Tree of Life represents to me: roots in what came before, growth through who we are today, and branches reaching toward what comes next. What we choose to heal, create, and protect becomes part of what we leave behind. We are not separate from our roots. We are where the past meets the future. #folkarttattoo #cosmiccolorism #koralladna
