Lucas came to me almost 1 year ago with a concept for a Nordic Tattoo sleeve to add to his small collection of tattoos. . We met and he explained that the wanted norse/danish style viking themed custom art sleeve from wrist to shoulder featuring the Helm of Awe . Black and Grey with a few Bindrunes and his wife’s name in Rune looking writing. He loves the idea of trees and possibly an Axe. . . We set some drawing dates and picked the start date. This project was going to be individual single day sessions, spread out. Allowing healing time between sessions… This does take longer to complete, but there are certainly reasons to choose this option. . . It did take a bit longer than either of us expected, but we both love the result. We finished it up in back to back days last week. Afterwords he grabbed one of the other artists in the shop and got a wedding band tattooed! . . #nordictattoo #jonpoulson #ancientmarks #vikingtattoo
