My client came to me with the idea of starting a freehand…

My client came to me with the idea of starting a freehand blackwork sleeve, but he didn’t just want another sleeve filled with individual tattoos. He wanted a piece that felt like it belonged to his body🖤 That’s where freehand tattooing makes all the difference. Instead of working from a stencil that has to be forced into place, I drew the entire design directly onto his arm, building the flow around his anatomy. Every line was placed to complement the shape of his body, creating a sleeve that moves naturally from every angle. Our first session was all about creating the foundation: freehanding the full design, lining the sleeve, and beginning the blackwork. This month we’ll complete the project and bring the whole composition to life. A tattoo isn’t just about what looks good on paper—it’s about how it looks on you. That’s why every freehand blackwork tattoo I create is designed specifically for the person wearing it! The goal is simple: to leave with a tattoo that feels like it was always meant to be there🖤 #nooirtattoo #uktattoo #freehandtattoo #blackworktattoo #armtattoos
