Brad Peterson

I was born in Berlin Wi. in 1976, my parents moved to Wausau a year later. I have called Wausau my home since.

I wasn't all that artistic through grade school. High school is where I started drawing and painting. I got some of my first tattoos from my friends and after I turned 18 I started getting tattooed by local shops.

In about 2001 I noticed one of the local tattooers was doing work unlike most of the shops at the time. Tattooing was an art I was interested in. I started attending tattoo conventions around this time, taking tattoo seminars and learning the craft of tattooing.

I opened the first 102tat2 location in 2003. 102tat2 has had locations in Wausau and in Schofield between 2003 and 2008. 102tat2 was also located inside Lil Devil Glass in Wausau from 2015-2016.

I am currently at Expressions Ink 614 n 3rd ave. Wausau. I enjoy doing tattoos, pen and ink, screen printing and acrylic painting.

When I am not doing art, I also enjoy tuning tattoo machines, attending tattoo conventions, and painting custom signs. I also work with local company Phenixphere, creating one of a kind fire pits. I like to make art that has a message.

I feel its important to be saying something with your efforts.
