Artist Special- Ivana

Howdy internet, today I have a special treat for you on a woman of many alias's and superb tattoo skills.

. Ivana is a European born self-taught artist with over 10 years of experience.Ivana's tattoos often hold a focus on color which she describes as "..usually very colorful and I do all different kind of styles.. It reflects me- I like variety in everything in my life".

                                            

I've always had an appreciation for Ivana's tattoos, they always seem to have a freedom and excitement; yet, a very sharp focus.

TattooNOW: How does your personality show in your tattoos?
Ivana: I guess they look fresh and young haha! It's my mind, I still feel like a kid...I need to be feel free to the point where there's 'no rules'.

TN: Why the title "Narcissistic Rockstar"?
Ivana: Lots of people think that about me, that I am a rockstar and living my life like one..In reality its the opposite, I get shy around people I don't know. I don't like to go out to party and drink, I like to be focused and have my mind fresh.I talk to the world through my art, I want to share it and add to the collective. A lot of people think I am a show off when they see my work in magazines, but all I mean to do is present my work.

 
                                                

TN: Can we get some specifics on the book and what a reader could expect?
Ivana: It includes 120 colorful pages of my tattoos, illustrations and, some personal writings. There's some pictures of my wold work, tattoos that I enjoyed at the time of making, some almost 4 years old. I also included a large number of unreleased photos specifically for the book. The book is basically a summary of my work, thoughts and lifestyle. I put a lot of myself in the book and I hope people who do not follow my work will also enjoy it.

                                                                     
TN: Any specific reason to release a book?
Ivana: I wanted to do something for my customers or anyone who likes my work. I've been asked if I sell my artwork before yet besides giving them a tattoo I didn't really have anything else.This book is a mixture of all my artwork in its various mediums. 
                                                                            

TN: Any plans for future books?
Ivana: Absolutely! I'm starting to prepare material for my second issue. I hope to include more 'funny' stuff for everyone. I'm going to take my time on it so I can give people the best I can offer!
