At the start, it looks flat

At the start, it looks flat. The area's blocked in, the outline's a quick pass, and the lines are washed but nothing's at full saturation yet. In realism it can stay that way over multiple sessions, until those final white highlights go in and you see the healed piece. We don't panic about it because we can see where it's going. We know if we keep working on it, it'll get better.
Your career works the same way. The difference is you can't see it, so it's hard to picture even five steps ahead.
How long do you stay on a price before you change it? Once you raise it, how long before you raise it again or bring it back down?
Then there's your time and money. What should you post, how often, and how much should you be spending? Should your energy go into the craft or the business, and when is it time for more education?
You're not going to see those answers on your own. You see them when you work with a mentor who's already been through it and knows what the next 20 steps actually look like.
Your apprenticeship taught you to tattoo. After that, you're expected to figure out the rest yourself, and not every tattoo mentor teaches the business. You can pull lessons from other industries, but it's easier and faster to work with someone who's been doing this for 23 years.
If your business still feels like it's in the flat stage, comment or DM COACH and I'll send you a link to book a discovery call.
