Coaching feels like a money grab.

A lot of it is. If you've been taken before, being careful makes sense.

“What if I pay and it's stuff I could've found for free?”

“What if I do everything they say and my books still look the same?”

“Then I'm out the money and I feel dumb for trying again.”

I used to think paying for advice was a scam too.

Now I pay several coaches because it gets me to my goals faster.

So ask what they've built. I've owned five studios over the years, I co-run three now,
and I've tattooed for 23 years and coached for ten.

Waiting has a cost. Next year it's another round of drawing at midnight after a full day of tattooing, with less of you left for home.

Your books are still full of pieces that you probably won't post, and the work you want to be tattooing for a lifetime is still a someday thing.
