We hear quite a bit about the history of tattooing the artform has grown with us as a people throughout history. However, there is signifigantly less attention given to the act of tattoo removal. Author Mairin Odle states that "Common tattooed phrases included "...Stop me, I'm a runaway". This in turn would lead most with tattooed phrases to want the removal of them.
