September and October have been especially heavy on my heart

September and October have been especially heavy on my heart.
These past several weeks have brought more sadness, challenges, and emotional moments than I could have imagined. From our home being struck by lightning to losing people and precious souls I love, life has reminded me just how fragile everything can be.
Some of the ones I love are no longer here. Others are far away, and some are still part of this world but feel distant, separated by circumstances, silence, or simply the space that life sometimes creates between us.
And then there's my beautiful golden girl, LULU. ❤️🐾
A love so pure, a presence so comforting, and a piece of my heart that will forever belong to her. Looking at her pictures and videos brings both a smile and tears. How beautiful it is to have experienced a love that even time and loss can never take away.
I've been trying my best to remain present, to appreciate the little moments, to respect people's time and space, and to understand that not everything in life happens when or how we wish it would.
But sometimes, understanding is easier than accepting.
I'm not someone who likes to share too much of my sadness or personal struggles. I prefer to inspire, create, love, and find beauty even in life's imperfections. But today, perhaps I just needed to acknowledge something within myself.
If I've seemed a little distant lately, it's not because I care any less. Perhaps it's because I've been missing so much and so many.
Those who have left this world. Those who are far away. And even those who are close enough to remember but somehow too far away to reach.
I'm learning that sometimes we have to allow life to realign itself. To give things time without forcing them, to love without expectations, and to accept that some questions may not have answers today.
I've always found inspiration in the past, the present, and the possibilities of the future. But the more I experience life, the more I realize something important:
The past lives in our memories. The future lives in our imagination. But the present is the only place where life actually happens.
So I choose to embrace this moment with gratitude, carry those I love in my ❤
