But getting those doesn’t mean chasing everything at once.

Every one of those goals is real. They just pull your calendar in different directions.

After I had my daughter, my sciatica got worse. My body was telling me to slow down, and I was taking care of a newborn. I had to look hard at what worked for me right then.

So I went after more aligned clients. I chose to focus on marketing and the things I’d always handed off to someone else in the past.

The right goal isn’t only about what you want. It’s about where you are right now.
