For this piece the client wanted his son and their dog together looking out at the twin rocks at rockaway beach. I asked him to either have his son put his arm around a large stuffy with a strong light source to the upper right or around their dog if he’d hold still long enough. He sent me photos of both. Even going as far as to make sure to take them near sundown in their yard. This is the ideal collaboration with a client. I cannot express enough how having good clear images to work from helps me in the creation of pieces like this. Clients that go the extra distance and work with me just get better pieces it’s as easy as that. This piece was a really fun piece to put together using bits of information from the reference photos and shots of the beach I could source myself. We were able to create something we both loved. As always done with @fusion_ink and @inkmachines thanks for looking. #cecilporter #colorrealism #portlandtattoo #portlandtattooartist #rockawaybeach
