2nd place in Best Backpiece / Bodysuit Tattoo at Lugano…

2nd place in Best Backpiece / Bodysuit Tattoo at Lugano Tattoo Royale 🥈 This piece is based on Caravaggio’s Madonna del Rosario. One of the things I love most is bringing classical art onto skin — keeping the character, light, and depth of the original painting while adapting it to the body and making it become part of the person. I spent all three days of the convention working on the upper part of this chest piece. It was also a challenging cover-up we managed to completely cover the old tattoo and connect the new upper section with the already healed lower part. Three intense days of tattooing at the convention, and we came away with 2nd place in Best Backpiece / Bodysuit Tattoo. Really happy to see a large-scale and technically challenging piece like this recognized at this level. Big thanks to my client for the trust, patience, and endurance throughout the whole process. And thank you to everyone who stopped by, watched the piece come together, and supported us during these three days. 🙏 Classical art on skin. Caravaggio. Lugano Tattoo Royale.
