Trevor is a pastor and one of the coolest clients I've ever had. He wanted a lower half sleeve depicting a specific scene in the Bible where Jesus is in the garden, giving himself to the will of God. This is also inspired by a song by the band, Me Without You. We decided to use religious stained glass images as inspiration, and if you notice; the bottom half is more bold and begins cracking away into shards of glass. The background blues fade from a morning blue up to a dark twilight night. Also; notice the magenta serpent, slithering in the background. My favorite part is the glass of wine that Jesus is holding. I'm going to say that it is a glass of fine Brunello.
This tattoo is just below a great tattoo by my friend, Nathan Kostechko. It is an honor to add a piece next to his great work. I had so much fun tying it all together to make one full sleeve and I look forward to doing more work like this.
